My recent stay at Pensiunea La Cetate left me with mixed feelings regarding its value proposition. The strategic location at the base of the path leading to Cetatea Neamțului is undeniably convenient for outdoor enthusiasts like myself. The friendly and attentive staff, while occasionally overwhelmed, went above and beyond to address issues promptly - even upgrading our room due to a persistent air conditioning problem.The hotel's quaint restaurant, terrace, and garden provided a lovely setting for meals and relaxation, although the decor was slightly dated. The rooms were spacious and well-equipped with modern amenities such as a fridge and Wi-Fi, though the overall ambiance felt somewhat lacking in luxury. Despite these shortcomings, La Cetate's proximity to key attractions and the warm hospitality of the staff added a certain charm to my stay. For those seeking a no-frills base for exploring the region's natural beauty, this hotel offers a decent balance of comfort and affordability.
